KaiyouIT × Locommit Japan: Accelerating Co-Creation Through Technology
On July 27, 2026, KaiyouIT had the opportunity to meet with representatives of Locommit Japan Co., Ltd. and present our system development capabilities, AI-driven development approach and potential areas for future collaboration.
The meeting allowed both companies to introduce their businesses, exchange experiences and explore how technology could support new value creation across the beauty, lifestyle, OEM, e-commerce and salon management sectors.
About Locommit Japan
The name “Locommit” combines two important concepts:
- Locomotive: Leading from the front, driving progress and creating new trends.
- Commit: Taking responsibility, honoring promises and delivering tangible results.
Locommit Japan is a creative company focused on the beauty and lifestyle industries. Its business philosophy is centered on connecting four key elements:
Products – Spaces – Brands – People
The company places great value on human relationships and follows a partnership-oriented business model. Rather than simply providing individual products or services, Locommit Japan works alongside its clients to develop brands, create new markets and produce sustainable long-term value.
Its main areas of business include:
- Planning and developing beauty and lifestyle products.
- OEM and ODM product development.
- Brand planning and production.
- Salon, shop and restaurant development and operation support.
- Commercial space planning, design and construction.
- Import, export and international business development.
- Logo, packaging, website, video and social media content production.
- Marketing, promotion and brand value development.
Under its vision of going beyond conventional thinking to create new value, Locommit Japan aims to build new lifestyles and cultures that extend beyond the traditional boundaries of the beauty industry.
Introducing KaiyouIT’s Development Capabilities
During the meeting, KaiyouIT introduced its team, operational structure and software development experience in both the Japanese and Vietnamese markets.
KaiyouIT’s principal services include:
- Web system development.
- iOS and Android application development.
- E-commerce system and platform development.
- AI, VR and IoT solution development.
- Offshore software development for Japanese companies.
- Consulting and implementation support for AI-enabled development processes.
KaiyouIT operates through a flexible development model that combines core full-time members with specialized professionals selected according to the requirements of each project.
Project tasks and progress are managed transparently through daily reports and tools such as Backlog, Redmine and Jira.
This approach enables clients to monitor development progress, current issues and upcoming activities throughout the project.
Experience in E-Commerce, OEM and Business Management Systems
One of the main topics discussed during the meeting was KaiyouIT’s experience in e-commerce and supply chain management systems.
KaiyouIT has participated in the development of a wide range of platforms, including:
- OEM order management systems connecting Japanese companies with overseas factories.
- Systems for managing product samples, mass production, costs and import progress.
- Cross-border e-commerce analysis platforms.
- B2B marketplaces connecting sellers with wholesale buyers.
- E-commerce platforms integrated with virtual reality environments.
- Multi-company and multi-location business management systems.
These projects are closely related to Locommit Japan’s business areas, including beauty product OEM, international trade, salon management, store expansion and brand development.
KaiyouIT’s AI-Driven Development Model
Another central part of the presentation was KaiyouIT’s AI-driven development model.
AI-driven development is not limited to using AI as a coding assistant. KaiyouIT integrates AI into multiple stages of the software development lifecycle, including:
- Requirements definition.
- Prototype development.
- System design.
- Implementation.
- Test creation and execution.
- Code review.
- Project documentation.
AI helps automate repetitive work, identify issues earlier and shorten development lead times.
However, KaiyouIT does not delegate the entire development process to AI.
At every stage, engineers and project managers review the output, make approval decisions and handle exceptional cases. Final responsibility for product quality always remains with people.
The goal of AI-driven development is therefore not simply to develop software faster. It is to deliver valuable systems within shorter timeframes while maintaining control over quality, progress and project risk.
Potential Areas for Collaboration
Through the discussions, the two companies identified several potential areas for future collaboration:
- OEM product and order management systems.
- E-commerce websites and platforms.
- Salon, store and franchise management systems.
- Import, export and cross-border commerce support.
- AI applications for management, marketing and product development.
- Digital transformation of internal business processes.
- New services connecting brand experiences with e-commerce.
KaiyouIT recommends beginning with a limited scope rather than immediately launching a large-scale development project.
The first stage would involve creating an interactive prototype that allows both sides to confirm the requirements, technical feasibility and expected business value.
Once the prototype has been evaluated, the system can be expanded in stages.
This approach reduces initial investment risk, clarifies the requirements and allows the client to verify practical results within a relatively short period.
Supporting New Challenges Through Technology
Just as Locommit Japan works alongside salons and brands to create value through products, spaces and branding, KaiyouIT hopes to support Locommit Japan’s future challenges through technology, system development experience and AI-driven processes.
We sincerely appreciate the representatives of Locommit Japan for taking the time to meet with us and openly discuss their business direction and future opportunities.
We hope that this meeting will become the first step toward practical and effective projects that create sustainable value for both companies.
